What is Move For The Planet?
Move for the Planet is a yearly global initiative that focuses on improving the places where we play sports. We're partnering with Common Goal and United Nations Climate Change to fund projects that provide education on sustainability and help make sports facilities more resilient against heat waves, flooding and other extreme weather conditions. For every 10 minutes you log on the adidas Running app or Strava from May 12-25, adidas will donate €1 (up to €1.5m) towards those projects.
In just a few simple steps you can join Move For The Planet and start making a difference:
ADIDAS RUNNING APP
1. Download the adidas Running app on your mobile device
2. Tap on the Community tab and go to Challenges
3. Go to the Move For The Planet challenge and tap 'Join challenge'
4. Track your activity between 12-25 May
STRAVA
1. Download the Strava app to your mobile device
2. Tap on the Groups tab and go to Challenges.
3. Go to the Move For The Planet challenge and tap 'Join challenge'

Sign-ups open on April 22, and Move For The Planet runs from May 12 to May 25. Whether alone or with a friend, you can move anywhere and as often as you like. Just remember to track your activity on the adidas Running app or Strava to make every minute count!
What sports can I track during Move For The Planet?
We want Move For The Planet to be an inclusive, global movement that harnesses the power of sport. Therefore, you will be able to participate by tracking any eligible sport in the adidas Running app and Strava.
How do I spread the word and get my friends involved?
Once you are signed up for the challenge, it's easy to spread the word and get your friends involved. Just send them a direct invite link via the Share button on the adidas Running app and Strava. You can also share your activity on your socials by using #MoveForThePlanet.
10 minutes of movement = 1 Euro donation*. What does that mean?
It means that for every 10 minutes of movement you log on the adidas Running app or Strava between May 12-25, adidas will donate up to €1.5m to projects that provide education on sustainability and help make sports facilities more resilient against heat waves, flooding and other extreme weather conditions.
