This is THE ZX8000 release of all ZX8000 releases to date. Markus Thaler and Jacques Chassaing put a stamp on the ZX8000 model with a premium version of the shoe using intense cobbling techniques. The number of the ZX8000 “Yellow” has been oft speculated and rumored to be 24. No one seems to know how many are still out. This limited Consortium drop allows the fortunate to finally have a pair without taking anything away from the original. Mr. Thaler is no longer with us, but Mr. Chassaing served as advisor and judge. This is as authentic as it gets. The materials are amazing, and the fit is exacting. My only gripe is adidas sent my shoes in an oversized box with no packing material. So, the limited edition shoe box is damaged. I’m holding back a star because adidas really needs to take more responsibility for its S&H. This is a once in a lifetime release. The unboxing experience should be just as special.
